Pólvora Films is a Valencian audiovisual production company that was founded in 2015 by Arturo Valls. Famous for his work as a presenter, comedian and actor, Valls founded the company out of a desire to produce high quality, commercially successful projects of various types, including entertainment, fictional film and television, and documentaries.
The company’s first production, the feature film Los del túnel (2017, Pepón Montero), which also starred Valls, was well-received by critics and its takings placed it among the 15 most-seen films of the year. The second production by Pólvora Films, Tiempo después (2018, José Luis Cuerda), was first screened as part of the Official Selection at San Sebastian International Film Festival and was among the ten most-seen Spanish films of 2018.
Following these successes, Pólvora Films continued in its commitment to producing a variety of projects, ranging from the short film Tótem loba (2021, Verónica Echegui), which won the Goya for the Best Fictional Short Film, and the experimental feature-length documentary Viaje a alguna parte (2022, Helena de Llanos), included in the Official Selection at Seminci, to the fictional series for Atresplayer Dos años y un día (2022, Ernesto Sevilla and Raúl Navarro) and the feature film Camera café, la película (2022, Ernesto Sevilla), first screened as part of the Official Selection at Malaga Film Festival, a commercial comedy starring Valls that adapted the legendary television series of the same name to the big screen.

Film-Line is a well-established and highly respected production company, located at the Bavaria-Studios Munich, with branches in Vienna and Berlin and member of the German and Austrian Producers Association (VDFP) and (Film-Austria).
CEO & Producer Arno Ortmair has many years of experience as Line Producer of American and European feature and television movies for Columbia Pictures, Paramount Studios, 20th Century Fox, Walt Disney Productions, Hollywood Pictures. (Moscow on the Hudson, Little Drummer Girl, The Holcroft Covenant, Shining Through, The Return Of I Spy, Homo Faber, The Train, The Traffic, James Bond, etc.)
After founding its own creative production company Film-Line Productions, he has become an expert in developing, financing and producing international projects. The company has excellent business relationships with leading media partners and subsidy funds in Europe and the US. Arno Ortmair was President of the German-Producers-Association “VDFP” over 10 years, and member of the board of the head organization of the German film industry “SPIO”, FIAPF and FFA.
Since 2020, Alexandra Ortmair has been working as a producer at Film-Line, developing feature films and high-profile content for TV and streamers together with young talents and successful writers and directors. Marta Sánchez de Miguel has a degree in Business Administration and Management and received a Goya nomination for 3 bodas de más (2013, Javier Ruiz Caldera). She has twenty years of experience in producing fiction and was a member of the production teams that worked on the films El Orfonato (2007, Juan Antonio Bayona), Los ojos de Julia (2009, Guillem Morales) and Rec 2 (2009, Jaume Balagueró, Paco Plaza), among many others. She has worked for over ten years in production management on projects including Superlopez (2018, Javier Ruiz Caldera) and the series El Inocente (2021, Oriol Paulo); she also worked as an executive producer on the films Todos están muertos (2013, Beatriz Sanchís), Algo muy Gordo (2017, Carlo Padial) and Hogar (2020, David and Alex Pastor). She recently released the Netflix film Un hombre de acción (2022, Javier Ruiz Caldera) and will shortly release an upcoming feature film by Fernando Frías, again working as executive producer on this project.
In 2022, she created the production company Lo Vi Films to develop and make new audiovisual projects. The company is currently working on the feature film Wolfgang (the new film by Javier Ruiz Caldera, in collaboration with Nostromo Pictures) and Red Earth, the new film by Carlos Violadé (in association with Estela Films, La Balanza Producciones and Film-Line Productions), among other projects currently at the development stage.
